The Gympie Showgrounds Farmers Markets are held the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month to supporting providers of fresh produce, great takeaway food, handmade goods, beautiful plants, and more ….
The markets are managed by a group of volunteers from the Gympie Show Society to utilise the grounds and make the most of our facilities. They provide much needed income to help fund the Gympie Show, while supporting vendors from our local communities.
The Showgrounds Farmers Markets showcases high quality handmade goods, local talent in art, craft and design & locally grown produce by some of the best farmers in Queensland. We welcome new vendors to the market environment & will continue to invite & connect locals with talented artisans.
We also have on offer a variety of plant vendors, as well as more casual Bric-a-Brac sites – great for fossicking to find pre-loved treasures!
There is plenty of free parking available on site, and our laneways are all sealed so our visitors have safe, easy pedestrian access.

- Is the market still on if it’s raining?
We are an outdoor all-weather market, and will only cancel when the weather provides a threat to public safety
- Can I smoke on site?
The entire Showgrounds is a SMOKE FREE ZONE.
- Can I bring my dog?
The general public are permitted to bring dogs to the market. They must be on leash and controlled at all times.
